Why was I disabled from GlobalTestMarket?

There are several reasons why a member can be disabled from the GlobalTestMarket community:

Why am I often screened out of surveys?

Why am I being asked the same questions in surveys I have already answered in my profile surveys?

We do our best to ensure that if you tell us your age, for example, we won't ask you for the same information again. But sometimes it's unavoidable, and we ask for your understanding when this does occur.

It can happen, for example, when you participate in a survey along with other respondents whose information is not known.

To ensure consistency among responses, market researchers will sometimes ask everyone for basic information on age, gender or location (including you). We know that being asked for duplicate information can be a bit frustrating, and we try to reduce the need for it to the extent possible.

What rewards can I earn for taking online surveys?

Each invitation will tell you how many LifePoints or Sweepstakes entries you will earn for completing the survey, or for participating but not qualifying for it. The amount of the reward will vary depending on two factors:

The urgency of the online survey -- more urgent surveys will offer higher incentives
The length of the online survey -- the more time required on your part, the larger the reward

What is the process for taking online surveys?

Survey invitations are sent via email and can be taken at your leisure by  logging into your GlobalTestMarket account via our website at www.globaltestmarket.com and clicking on the blue Start Now button

All you need is a computer and Internet access. While the length of survey varies, on average it takes 20 minutes to complete a survey. You will be rewarded for every survey you take with either LifePoints or Sweepstakes Entries, if eligible.

I have not received survey invites, what do I do?

Our survey invites may not be making it into your Inbox. Your email provider may be flagging our emails as SPAM and moving them to your junk folder.

To ensure that you receive all of our survey invitation emails, please add frontdesk@globaltestmarket.com to your list of trusted senders, address book or contact list.

If your mailbox does not have an address book or contact list, please contact your email provider's tech support and ask how they can make sure emails from frontdesk@globaltestmarket.com makes it into your mailbox.

LifePoints Rewards and Redemptions

I have not received my E-Certificate, how long before I receive it?

We send the E-certificate(s)to your order’s registered email address within the next 10 working days.

If you do not get the E-Mail containing your E-Certificate within 10 working days you can request the email be resent by following the steps below:

  1. LOGIN to your portal account
  2. CLICK on the Reward page
  3. CLICK on the Redeem page
  4. SELECT “My Account” in the green header at the top of the page
  5. SELECT the order number associated with the e-certificate
  6. CLICK "Resend"
  7. The e-certificate will be sent to your email immediately.

The E-certificate(s) will be sent to your order’s registered email address again.

I have not received my paypal fund, how long before I receive them?

PayPal Funds will be sent within 10 business days after you redeemed. If you have confirmed that you have not received the fund in your Paypal account, please let us know and we will research for you. Please provide the correct email address for your Paypal account.

What is Paypal?

PayPal is a service that enables you to pay, send money, and accept payments without revealing your financial details. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can sign up for a free account to receive your funds by going to http://www.paypal.com.

How long before my Paypal funds are available?

Funds will be deposited into your PayPal account within 10 business days. If the email address where you received this order confirmation email is different than your PayPal email address, please log into your PayPal account and add this email address. This will ensure that your PayPal funds are delivered

I don't have a current Paypal account. How does the Paypal option work?

If you do not have a current PayPal account, you can create one on PayPal's website. When placing a PayPal order, make sure that the email address being used is your PayPal email address OR that the email address you are using to redeem is associated with your PayPal account.

When a PayPal order is placed you will receive a confirmation email directly from PayPal within 10 business days. This email will be sent to the email address entered when redeeming for PayPal.

The content of the email will confirm the amount of funds transferred to your account, your rewards order number, and PayPal transaction ID.

How do I know I placed my Paypal order correctly?

After placing your order, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided confirming your order was placed. Paypal will then send you an email within 10 business days that confirms the funds have been deposited into your PayPal account.

The email address I received my order confirmation to is not my PayPal account email address. What can I do?

All Paypal orders are sent to the email address listed in your shipping details at the time of placing your order. To link the email address to your PayPal account:

  1. LOGIN to your PayPal account
  2. Click the Profile “Gear” Icon in the upper right hand corner to display your profile settings
  3.  
  4. Click the + sign in the email section to associate an additional email address to your PayPal account

I already have an account, how will you know my current Paypal account information?

All Paypal orders are directly linked to the email address provided at the time the order is placed. A confirmation email, with your order confirmation number, is sent immediately after an order is placed.

Within 10 business days after the order is placed, Paypal sends a second confirmation email letting you know the funds are available.

Can I receive my PayPal fund if my PayPal email address is different from the one I have on my account with you?

Yes, but you have to add the email on your account  to your PayPal account.

Here's how to add an email address to your PayPal account:

  1. Go to www.paypal.com and log in to your account.
  2.  
  3. Click 'Profile' near the top of the page
  4.  
  5. Click 'Update' beside 'Email'.
  6.  
  7. Click 'Add'.
  8.  
  9. Enter your new email address and click 'Save'.

Why didn't I get rewarded for a survey?

Shortly after completing the survey your account is credited with the reward stated in the survey invitation. If you were not awarded the right amount of LifePoints or Sweepstakes entries for participating in a survey, please contact us and provide the survey number.

Unfortunately, we are unable to look into the issue without a survey number.

Occassionally, for some surveys including diaries, forums, discussion boards, webcams, etc, we do not credit your points until the entire survey is closed. If you have completed the survey, you should see the points added to your account within 6-8 weeks of participation.

Once you have allowed this time to pass, if you still have not received the points, please let us know.

Why are the points I need for awards different than my friends?

If a panelist was a member BEFORE the new Perks catalog went into effect, they are grandfathered in and will not see a change in the amount of points needed for redemption items available to them.

However, if you joined our panel AFTER the Perks Catalog went into effect, you are part of a separate points scheme and therefore the amount of points needed to redeem for specific items will differ than what is needed for grandfathered panelists.

The points required for redemption directly correspond to the number of points awarded for surveys and are equal for all panelists but vary on value depending on which points scheme your are on.
